ACT Research Webinar Registration Terms

1. Registration and Confirmation

These terms apply to ACT Research webinars and related virtual programs. By registering or accepting an invoice, the attendee and purchasing organization agree to these terms. Registration is confirmed only after ACT Research provides written confirmation and is subject to availability, payment, and applicable eligibility requirements.

2. Pricing and Payment

The registration must be identified as subscriber, non-subscriber, prepaid, included, or complimentary. Subscriber pricing requires an active qualifying ACT Research subscription when invoiced. Optional programs, recordings, and other add-ons are separate unless specifically included.

Payment is due by the invoice due date and before the webinar unless ACT approves different terms in writing. ACT may cancel an unpaid registration or withhold access credentials after the payment deadline.

3. Cancellations and Substitutions

Cancellations received in writing before the cancellation cutoff stated in the registration confirmation will receive a full refund. Beginning on the cutoff date, registration fees are non-refundable and will not be converted to account credit.

After the cutoff, the purchasing organization may substitute another employee from the same organization at no additional charge. The substitution must be provided to ACT before the webinar begins and before the original attendee uses the access credentials.

Subscriber-priced registrations may be transferred only within the qualifying subscriber organization. Registrations and access credentials may not be resold or transferred to another organization without ACT’s written approval.

4. Included and Prepaid Registrations

Webinar registrations included with a subscription or another commercial arrangement have no cash value and are not refundable. They must be used for a webinar occurring during the applicable subscription or benefit term unless ACT agrees otherwise in writing.

Unused registrations expire at the end of that term and do not roll over. Use of an included or prepaid registration is not complete until ACT confirms the attendee and webinar.

5. Webinar Access and Technology

Access is limited to the registered attendee or the quantity of attendees shown on the invoice. Webinar links, passwords, and other credentials may not be shared with unregistered individuals.

Attendees are responsible for having a compatible device, reliable internet connection, and any required software. ACT is not responsible for an attendee’s inability to participate because of individual equipment, connectivity, security settings, or other attendee-side technical issues.

Attendees should join early enough to address potential connection problems. Questions about access should be submitted to ACT as soon as possible.

6. Webinar Changes, Rescheduling, or Cancellation

ACT may make reasonable changes to the webinar’s presenters, agenda, schedule, platform, or delivery format. These changes do not create a refund right unless ACT cancels or materially reschedules the webinar.

If ACT cancels the webinar without providing a replacement, ACT will refund the registration fee paid. If ACT reschedules the webinar, the registration will transfer to the new date. An attendee who cannot attend the new date may request a refund within 10 business days of the rescheduling notice.

If an ACT-controlled technical problem materially prevents delivery of the webinar, ACT may reschedule the program, provide access to a recording or replacement session, or issue a refund.

7. Materials, Recording, and Acceptable Use

Webinar presentations, forecasts, data, recordings, and related materials are owned by ACT Research or the applicable presenter and are provided for the registered attendee’s internal business use.

Attendees may not record, reproduce, publish, sell, share, or redistribute the webinar or its materials without written permission. Registration does not provide access to ACT subscription products or databases unless specifically stated.

ACT may record the webinar, including participant questions, audio, video, or chat contributions. Attendees should not share confidential or sensitive information during the webinar. Access to an ACT recording or presentation materials is provided only when specifically included in the registration or subsequently authorized by ACT.

8. Liability, Governing Law, and Questions

To the extent permitted by law, ACT’s total liability related to a webinar registration will not exceed the registration fees paid for the affected attendee and webinar. ACT is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from participation, technical problems, program changes, rescheduling, or cancellation.

These terms are governed by Indiana law. Any permitted legal proceeding will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Bartholomew County, Indiana.
