Paul Traub (BBA, MBA) currently holds the position of Economic Consulting for ACT Research. Prior to joining ACT in 2021, Traub spent 10 years as Senior Business Economist at the Detroit branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and for 25 years worked at Chrysler, ending his tenure there as Chief Economist.
Traub is currently a member of the National Association of Business Economists and the Detroit Economic Club; is on advisory boards for Oakland University School of Business Administration and the Department of Economics; and has served as an adjunct faculty member at Oakland University in the School of Business. At the Fed, Traub was co-creator of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Detroit Economic Activity Index and a frequent contributor to the Midwest Economy and Michigan Economy blogs. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and an M.B.A. from Oakland University.
