Join us this coming February as we take a deep dive into the future of electrification in the commercial vehicle and transportation markets. With industry experts joining ACT’s team of speakers, Seminar 62 will delve into the challenges and opportunities of the emerging electrification technology as actualization of this method draws closer.

ACT Research is excited to host our 62nd Seminar for the benefit of our clients and guests. Our seminars are an opportunity to deep dive into topical trends, hear from industry experts, connect with market leaders, and better understand the state of the industry. Seminar 62 promises to be another great event as we focus on the U.S. economy, the potential impact of trade wars, new and emerging technologies, gaining overviews of the current truck and trailer markets, the future of freight rates, the impact of e-commerce, among other relevant and timely industry issues. DATA 101: Turning Data Into Knowledge

Tuesday, February 11 – $425 Early Bird Special, $550 after January 15, 2020

1 pm – 4:30 PM || ACT Research Lodge – 4440 Middle Road, Columbus, IN 47203

Check-in and lunch start at 12:30 PM.

In this comprehensive workshop, ACT Research analysts will present an overview of the myriad of data they work with on a day-to-day basis that is incorporated into the various reports, databases and forecasts ACT publishes.

The overview will include what data is collected; timing of data collection and reporting; definitions of the data elements and what they represent; how the data is analyzed, synthesized and assimilated into our body of work.

The workshop is designed not only for those who may be new to the industry and are looking for a commercial vehicle primer, but will also serve as a valuable refresher for the seasoned industry veteran.

Perhaps the most valuable portion of the workshop will be your opportunity to share your experiences about how you use the data and what data needs you have a tough time filling.

*The Workshop is an optional pre-seminar program hosted in conjunction with ACT’s Seminar 62. Attendance at the seminar is not required to attend the Database Workshop.
