With more than 40 years’ experience, Ken is a knowledgeable speaker about a broad spectrum of commercial vehicle industry topics. Ken has presented at the Credit Suisse Truck Builders’ Conference, J.D. Power’s Automotive Forecasting Conference in Europe, and the Federal Reserve of Chicago’s Automotive Outlook Symposium as well as their Economic Outlook Symposium. In addition, Ken has spoken at conferences for the Used Truck Association, the Precision Metalforming Association, the Canadian Trailer Equipment Association, the National Trailer Dealers Association, the National Fluid Power Association, and selected private companies. He participates regularly in conference calls sponsored by ACT Research.

Kenny Vieth, Partner and Senior Analyst
Kenny is in demand as a speaker on Class 8, trailers and the economy. Some of the conferences at which he has presented include: J.D. Power Automotive Forecasting Conference (Europe), Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Automotive Outlook Symposium and the Fed’s Economic Outlook Symposium, Newport Communications’ Economic Summit #10, Deutsche Bank’s Global Transportation Conference, the National Association of Business Economists, the National Fluid Power Association, HDMA’s Heavy Duty Dialogue, and AMRC’s Heavy Truck Committee, as well as dealer meetings for leading vehicle manufacturers. He participates regularly in conference calls sponsored by ACT Research and has spoken in conference calls for Citibank, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, CIBC, and Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, among others. Steve Tam, Director
Steve has presented at the J.D. Power Automotive Forecasting Conference (Europe), and the National Fluid Power Association. He has made a number of presentations to top management at OEMs and suppliers, including Ford, GM, Jacobs, Parker Hannifin, GE Capital, Havco, Penske, and Allison Transmission. He has also presented to banks, including Kaupthing Bank and Handelsbanken (Sweden). Steve is knowledgeable about the economy, Class 8, and trailers, with a special expertise in the Classes 5-7 medium duty market.

Gayatri Deshpande, Research Analyst
Although fairly new to the commercial vehicle industry, Gayatri brings her knowledge of statistics to ACT Research as it applies to commercial vehicle data. She is also driving the company’s knowledge of China and India’s emerging commercial vehicle markets.
